The lady at the country produce store told us the hen stopped laying when she took the eggs and didn't replace them with fake plastic eggs. She reckons it could count the number of eggs that should be in the nest ...... must have been a mathemachicken

Yes, but the Bell Curve goes to interesting places... :roll:









... and if you're completely mystified by that one, Google 'statistical bell curve'. ;)
(had to do a unit of stats for my marketing degree)
