A bit more rustic garden art. By the serial No. it is a 1944 Z series Southern Cross. Picked it up from Peterborough SA. and put it up with the help of a neighbour. Got to be a bit mad I know.
Cheers John

It is like me, a bit to old and worn out to work. The wheel has been tied and is only for rustic garden art. I have a couple of more things in mind to put up there.
Cheers

Ah, good idea. That constant squeak would drive you nuts.

At last you made it, adds to the already rustic garden theme.

I often toy with the idea of putting one down by the river and using it as a wind generator (generate electricity type and not the Chuck type) to power the water pump when the solar isn't doing its thing because the sun is behind the trees or the other side of the globe.
Not sure how you find one that is still suitable for the job, strong enough to climb and handle the load a wind generator would place on it ..... one of these type of things

T1,
You might have to have Chuck on call for when you have a still night…
