And the winner is.........drum roll.......
Jon D has finally broken from the ranks of also rans to top the winners table with a fabulous Christmas cake. And a deserving win it was too.

Shirley, yes he did, from mixing the ingredients and doing all the preparations and boiling it in a camp oven. Took around 6 hrs of cooking.

The steamer was sealed and sitting in a cradle made from old ring lock fence wire. That was then sitting in a big camp oven full off simmering water with a mixing dish clamped down as a lid. It was surprisingly easy.
