Re: Licences
It is yearly in NSW once 75yo is reached. I have to have a GP medical and due to the fact that I had a stent inserted in an arterey years ago I have to also have a check with heart specialist.

I had the GP test last year, seems a bit OTT when all was OK Oh well nothing has changed apart from nearly another year older.

Re: Licences
I have a review every year due to my heart and pacemaker issues, My GP and cardio man love me every time I visit to have the review, I think they need the money Vic Roads are very particular with heavy vehicle drivers with defibs and pacemakers, but I think it's good they are that way.

Re: Licences
Bernie,
You might discover that you're technically unlicenced.
If you have moved to Queensland, you will need to apply for a Queensland driver licence if you are:
an Australian citizen and you've been living in Queensland for 3 months
not an Australian citizen but you were given a resident visa before you moved to Queensland and you have been living in Queensland for 3 months
not an Australian citizen, but you were given a resident visa after you moved to Queensland and you've been living in Queensland for 3 months since getting the visa.
A resident visa is a permanent visa or special category visa under the Migration Act 1958 (Commonwealth). These visas allow a person to stay indefinitely in Australia. These do not include temporary, business or guardian visas.

Re: Licences
"tanks" here---
Qld require me to have a medical every year, and now that I am over 80 years old I am restricted to daylight driving only.
I have to carry a medical certificate with me in the car when I drive.
Keith.

I'm now 85 years of age and living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no address, no money, no worries.
