wet feet in Mannum

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Almost like the view from a house boat.
What's all the stickers on the windscreen?

They have suffered in the sun a bit eh  The left hand one I believe was Margaret's all area pass when she worked for CSC to get into any Bluescope and BHP mining site, the other one was my TAFE parking access sticker when I was doing the Tafe courses close to 20 yrs ago

Is the water level still going up or has it levelled off yet?

Can we raise the level of this topic?

Level has been .... well..... level now for over a week!
Some minor ups & downs depending on wind direction is all.
Sad to say but as the water goes down it will be much more sad due to dead lawns, grass and ruined items.
One of the biggest things we will face in the marina will be the layer of mud/silt that has settled on everything. I can only imagine the floor in the two sheds!!
From those that have been involved in cleanups ..... do you just wash/squirt it out or shovel/scrape it out?
Today I might go take a good look in the sheds to see if the major switchboard got 'washed' or not. Must be very close!!
