Well folks the water is going down at a good steady rate around Mannum and day by day we discover items as they re-appear!!!
This morning looking out the front of my houseboat I can start to see the very top of several of the green posts that run along the outside of the road.
It is going to be interesting to find out how many have propeller marks on them now.

I took the speedboat into the Corporation's shed yesterday to grab some pics of how high the water went. The very bottom row of RCB's got 'washed' plus a couple of switches.

Pics coming from ph shortly. (done)

Bruce, I reckon you and your body corporate will get a gold star, and maybe even a koala stamp, for your efforts to minimise the damage around the marina. :D

Ray I have the insurance company on speed dial & informed them the claim would be in once the level reached the window sills!!
We are so lucky that we float. A lot of houses & shacks weren't so lucky!

The road from the other side of the Long Gully dirt banks through to Flood Rd is just about all above water now. The very top of the Private ?????? is showing above the water, but that's about it, still needs to go down a lot before we discover if the jetties still exist and my island where the solar and pump lives is still there ......

Brian will be upset if the water drops much more, his boat will bottom out crossing the road again  I'm sure it gave the people in the caravan (up on dry land) hrs of entertainment watching Brian battle the current and the wind when he had to lift the motor up to stop the prop from hitting the road before the water got high enough for a smooth crossing ..... Now they will get to watch it in reverse
