I've lost my mind

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

I've lost my mind

Post by BruceS »

I need some help!
Does anyone know of a website or facility where I can download & print out a copy of a/the calendar?
Preferably A4 size for each month.
I hate to admit it but in bygone years I used my partner's memory for birthdays, anniversaries etc.
I find lately I'm having problems remembering when I last changed the sheets, and even what day the rubbish gets collected.
Got asked recently what my name was & where do I live ................
Doesn't need to be in colour, have pictures or ???

Bruce, I'm not much help with a website, but I use the calendar on my phone for a lot of stuff.
You could also use the alarms function for day to day stuff like appointments etc.

I use Google Calendar and have all birthdays ets on it. I have it set up to give email reminders 7 days and 1 day prior.

Bruce,
If you definitely need a printed calendar, you should be able to print a free one from your printer.
My HP printer has a "Forms" page which has graph paper, check lists, and calendars, as well as plain lined notepaper on pre-sets.
Of course, if you want pretty pictures as well, Snapfish will do one for you at a minimal cost using your own photos. :P
But, like others here, I use my phone calendar for birthdays, anniversaries etc, as well as boring stuff like medical appointments & haircuts. :D
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Ray my printer is that old it'd want to print 1989 one!
It's OK, I did some research & found one. I can just print which months I want too.
My old HP Laser printer will print on 'card stock' so should be a good job.

not A4,

but we use a BOM calendar. Bit enough to make lots of entries and nice pictures too.

    I had to have a laugh when I read this thread, when I was having a coffee at bowls this morning I suddenly remembered it was Bruce’s birthday, I forgot :o only been married to him for 57 years, I rang him straight away & had all the members that I was sitting with laughing when I said, “happy birthday”. I was rushing around getting ready for bowls & had the 2 young g’sons here to take to school, just completely forgot, his comment, “ it’s only another day, “

Bruce,
just google Australian calendars and choose the one you like. I ended up choosing one that has the whole year on a page and I can see quickly where I will be each month without constantly turning pages. There are several formats to choose from. Hope this works for you. By saying Australian, you get the public holidays etc.

Bruce
Lots of free download calendar sites, can add notes to the relevant days then print out at home.
The bees knee would be one where it could import all your data say from excel and enter onto calendar so you don’t need to update every year
