I'm looking into some software that monitors a websites 'uptime'.
I've got it installed & working but I don't think it will work as the website is in fact 'up' even though the page isn't being produced as wanted.
The error message will in fact be recorded as an 'up' I think.
I'll cause the error to be produced for a short time to see if it detects it as 'down' or not.
Time is 10:56AM 30th Dec. Test will be for about 10 minutes.

Three days in a row I can open the forum, try for a page and the message comes up. L ast time I checked I had the correct update.

Here is a copy of yesterday's experience beginning at 8am and finally getting thru at 9.06am

"Belated Birthday wishes from us Dave. We were in Sydney for the weekend and only arrived home last night and have had the dreaded message until now. Let's see if this goes thru.
