Budget Barry's Bus

It certainly was a Budget Barry Bus, found most of it in other people's rubbish collections even back in the west, he continued finding & repairing old bicycles as well as other stuff. RIP Barry.

Ray he certainly was an interesting character, remember after having dinner at the Isisford, Qld pub him reciting poetry to our amazement, we travelled to the Boulia camel races with him & a group of CMCA mambers, free Safari group, it was the only time the races were cancelled owing to very heavy rain & track being unsafe. great memories.

If memory serves me correctly, he was a retired School Teacher.

Yes, he was George, grew up in Tasmania.

He taught for a while in Canada. Also was a avid sailor had his own boat a trimaran that was while in Canada. He built that bus entirely from stuff out of scrap skips. God it stunk of cigarette smoke, him being a prolific smoker.. RIP Barry.
