Wood from Fruit Trees

Post by RobertNotBob »

Hi all is any one in SA trimming or cutting down any of the following fruit trees.

Apple
Cherry
Olive
Peach
Plum

Or some Red Gum

Would like the wood for my meat smoking so do not need massive trunks.

Cheers Robert

Robert, I have a bit of cherry wood for you, Do you want it left undercover until we are able to mingle?

If they saved the turnings/shavings from their lathe work, that could be used for smoking as well ..... a bit tricky to roll, might need to run them through the "mulla-matic" first so the splintery bits didn't break through the Tally Ho papers :?
