Yes, thanks Jon. We were aware of this when we bought it some 7 or 8 years ago. Preferred the high lid because of the temp gauge and it was never a problem because it travelled in the LandCruiser.
Just requires a rethink now.

Ahhh... there's the difference - our Baby Q was the low lid minus the temp gauge.
