Happy Birthday Dave, does this make you officially old enough to get a pension? Or next yr?

Thanks for all the good wishes everyone. I have had a wonderful. Had a lovely steak for lunch overlooking the water. Feel a bit full now. I am now officially old enough to apply for the pension, but seriously doubt if I will get it. I would be happy just to get a health care card.
Cheers

Happy birthday Dave! Sounds like you have had a good day. Remember when applying for the pension that your assets should be valued at “what you can sell them for tomorrow”. Not any other value. Good luck! We’ve never had a problem with Centrelink.
Cheers
