I looked at a Honda Civic about a year ago. Was really impressed by the engineering. My preference would be Japanese...

After being insulted by a $200 trade-in offer, (on another Honda), my cousin gave me his 2001 Civic with 220,000km on the clock. Still purring like new at 245,000km...

Shirley the window is for home. It's a project that I have kept putting off when we had business to make things for. So this being forced to stay home has had a huge benefit for my crafts. Of course I had to choose a blooming big window and it is a very slow process. But the job is progressing, slowly.

Another busy lair day. Cleaned up some kiln shelves and re-coated them with kiln wash for the next firing. Pretty boring task, but it has to be done to stop the glass from sticking to the shelves.

Deborah cleaning out some gear yesterday and came across my copper foil machine and glass grinder. Been years since .i have done any glass work.

My daughter in law has a Honda with well over 200,000 on the clock & it has never missed a beat, only has the small motor too & very economical, son reckons it's a great little car to drive he couldn't fault it.

Honda is having a look at its viability in Aust. and are dropping a lot of models. There is even some talk of them leaving Aust. Might pay to do a bit of research before buying one. Cheers John

She called in today, just left before starting this...out side the gate...we talked at 2 metres apart. Collected the notes, gave copies I'd done but showed her the original ones. She came in civvies along with another guy who was really tall,I thought it might have been her hubby, but no it wasn't. She said yesterday that she'd come today,& in an unmarked car so that was all good. Said they will be looking into it & hope that it can be done not to involve me.

Yeah Baby. We have the paddy wagon 5 mufti cars One marked car & a mufti sitting on that bright concrete driveway!!!!
I feel like I haven't felt ....for a long time...total relief.
How quick was all that!!!How long had I been banging on? DOT & GEORGE..I have no way (yet) of thanking you. They have been up there for about 20mins so far..could be a long day eh!! Bet his ar** is fare twitching now.

Fiddle farted about today, cause it's bloomin freezing again. Had the gas man out to do his heater maintenance and to check all the fittings on the cooktop to see why we seem to be losing gas. All good in the house, but as soon as he got near the bottles he could smell gas. The people who did the last exchange of bottles have shoved the hose on and not properly sealed it. As the dead bottle was removed yesterday, I dont understand how he could find the replacement bottle doing the same thing. Anyway, he has sorted it all out and showed his nibs how to double check after each bottle exchange and fitted an extra tap between the bottles to turn each tap off individually and aim the tap to the open bottle. THis is just another safe guard for losing gas, he tells me. So we have had a sort of win theret.
