Pavlova is a patriotic sweet for you Dot. Now where did it originate, NZ or Aus? xxxx
Quiet Christmas in the lair. We slept very late and seemed to eat all day long. Now we are too stuffed to do anything. It hasn't really been typical Christmas weather either. Sort of cloudy and very heavy showers at weird moments and then back to cloudy almost sunny.
Lots of food n drink to be slept off I suspect, so sweet dreams out there xxx

"Reserved the usual spot for you.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Pav definitely a NZ yummy.
Today I slurped some home grown peaches down
G went to the block and did a bit of tidying up and I stayed home and did some washing but far too hot for me outside. HTFFBO has hit the road heading west, going to be a hot crossing and as long as the borders don't shut down . What about those reject back packers having an all out party in Sydney, bloody fools send them all back if that is how they respect our safety. Nothing on TV as usual so bed time for me. Goodnight everyone x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, I want to know how the blasted backpackers come to be in the country? If they have been here since the sh** hit the fan in March, surely they would have developed some empathy for our rules....obviously not. gggrrr xxxx
From a phone call yesterday, it seems that our family have decided to descend upon us on Monday for Christmas. So much for thinking we got out of that unscathed! Did a bit of rushed shopping to get essentials to feed the family and are now back to writing lists to make sure they actually get fed on time. All is well, really. I t was just a surprise that they suddenly wanted to do a big family thing after staying away from each other for so long. Just trying to keep Bondi germs away from Penrith germs, we had only had visits from each family separately. But they decided that this is the time to get together. Luckily, they have all been tested recently, so we think they are ok. We will be cautious, just to be sure anyway.

Hi Deborah how recent was the testing, sorry I would still be saying no for a gathering in NSW just to risky. Even over here we still keep gatherings to the minimum.
How’s the kilm going having a win yet? Cheers Robert

Dot,, you enjoy the feeling of coolness I am jealous of your cool
xxxx
Robert, they were tested 10 days ago and the symptoms they had, have been treated with antibiotics and are all better now. So we are ok with that. There will still be hand sanitisers, extra washing and distancing will be happening. So we are being extra careful, it would be silly to be any other way , after spending the last 8 months in virtual isolation. All up we will have 6 adults, 2 teenagers and 1x 6year old . So while, in our house that feels like a crowd, on the verandah we can be fairly distanced without being unfriendly.
The kiln and I are starting to come to an understanding. I have to read the book before I put in any programs, just to be sure. But it is happening. Each time I use it, it feels a bit more familiar.
