Good afternoon, we went to the GP this morning, he sent me for a bone scan as my Prolia injection is due next month, girl doing the scan told me that I’m agile & fit for my age have to have a blood test too, results next month unless GP calls me back sooner.

Found a 2 man canoe in our front yard when we arrived home, received a message from eldest g’son, he found it on the side of the road with 2 paddles, amazing the things folk leave out for collection, the young lads will have another fun thing to use in the lake.

Hot here at the moment and AC on again, very dry air and not good for my lungs.

Finally have the caravan blind on the sink window fixed. Just need to fix some washers over the screw hole# to act as packers. At lest it is now going down without jamming. Now just have to restick the extra rubber seal around the roof hatch and jobs done.

Have the repair cafe on again this Saturday, first one for the year. Hope I have a few in for general repairs otherwise it is boring.

Hi Bernie it is where people volunteer to fix things for their community

I do general repairs and toys
My wife does sewing
We have a couple of electricians, a knife sharpener, bicycle repairs, Jewellery repairs

Once a month for 3 hours they weigh what has been repaired so they have a record of things not going to land fill.

Some times it is busy other times slow. Cheers Robert
