Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Oh Dot, (I'm already giggling.).... what a great title for a book.

"Terry, sets the AC timer for puddy cat." Like seriously, what could go wrong?

The illustrator could have a ball. Terry sound asleep in bed, the cat hovering over him in a state.
Even introducing Margaret with hand on hips talking to the cat about how hot it is.

And then, Brian, motoring up the Murray in bare feet dangling in the bow wave, saying it's not hot on the water.

Second last page, Margaret calling hang on Brian, I'll just grab the animals and join you.
Last page, Terry waking up and looking around and asking "where is everyone?"

Hey Tanks wishing you all the best with the move enjoy yourself while you can mate.

Re your joke I use to go out to Kakadu in the late 1970’s with a aboriginal mate of mine. We would throw apour lines in with no bait and sit with a cold beer waiting for a stray tourist to ask the same question. Good times for sure, cheers Robert

Dot wrote: Tue Feb 21, 2023 1:48 pm Morning all, we all wish you well for the future in Perth Tanks, it sure is a bastard this getting old stuff. Terry why don't you set your air con to turn on at a set time? The misting fan we use for the birds only has a timer for 4 hrs but it makes a difference. Bruce how is your leg? Keep cool everyone
The bonus is, the house is cool when we get home  Doing an off grid job in Cambrai and at 4pm when I started to head home in the Prius, the dash thingy said the outside temp was 43*C. The bloke had a swampy running off a generator in the shed to keep it a bit cool, I reckon it'll take me a week to get the fluid back off my lungs, those things are evil, add the paint fumes from the auto paint products cooking in the shed waiting for him to respray an F250 he's rebuilding, and it was a some what toxic environment ..... I reckon it's time to go home, share the spot under the air con wit the cat and consume a steak or three .... might need to pass by the pub to restock ready for hotter days still to come

T1, I would suggest that it would be appropriate to have at least one, maybe two, steak in a glass, then follow it with a Dubliner or two, on ice, no mixers. Possibly repeat the prescription until the problem is resolved. Might take a few days. Tell Marg that I said it's OK. :D

Morning all n Dave.
Yesterday we went to Maryborough for Carol's dry needling...she seem to be a bit better by the arvo, gotta do it all again tomorrow  that will make it around four hundred Ks for the week  in the Navara.
We have people from the sunny coast coming today for a look at the winnabago.
It rained most of the trip home but none here...but did get a cuppla light showers around 4 O'clock.
Had a discussion with Panasonic re the broken aircon, wasn't impressed with who ever I was talking to so I asked for her supervisor...wasn't going to let me talk till I mentioned that the next call I make will be to the office of fair trading   Then the supervisor was talking to me. We sorta have a understanding the the aircon will be fixed next week
Keep cool and safe.
Bernie.

Good morning All. Steady rain and 21* here with forecast of rain and showers all day. I have to brave the weather in order to get the 5th Covid jab at 2:30 pm and doubt I will be doing much more.
