Yaa my back held up yesterday, and I did give it a good work out
Not much happening on the home front, been busy doing other stuff.
yes Dot it would be dark when you came on the thred , it's slowly getting fresher every morning too, at least the pesky wind seems to have moved on.
I only had one and a half beers yesterday....hope I'm not coming down with something

Good morning All. 15* and cloudy here with rain forecast for this afternoon. I got the bus out through the gateway at 6:20am and went to the, not quite local, servo to put 145l of diesel in the tank @ $1.85/l. I will be heading south at about 5am tomorrow, in the rain.

Good morning everyone. We had some some heavy
showers overnight, and otherwise a steady drizzle. It seems to have buggered off now and there sky is blue and cloud free, even though it is still rather fresh. I did do some window washing yesty, do think they have been cleaned in a very long time, maybe even never.
Gunna leave the rest to someone else now.
Having a big cook up this morning, bacon, eggs, sausages and corn fritters. There's plenty of mouths to feed this morning. Safe travels all those out and about.
Bring warm clothes George. It's getting real cold overnight.

Good morning, 15c sunshine N/W breeze blowing in across the lake, rain predicted late this arvo, so far looks like a good day for the boys to fish, couple of older fellows standing up fishing along in between the jetties must be getting a few whiting I think, been at it about an hour.

Crab pot bottle caught around the starboard rudders on the cat moving with it, I’ll have to get the big boy g’son around to dive on it & remove same.

He will be here tomorrow I just learnt to work on the gear box in his LR Discovery, I should start a thread about it, all the work/ repairs that get done on it here I’ll get the hill mowed if it’s not raining, he’ll probably want to borrow my MUX to go to work, lucky I have 4 other bowlers that live in our street to give me a lift around to the bowling club, better go shopping & get provisions in for next week today.

Could be very sad news for T1. News reported a large shed fire on Adelaide road Mannum involving a lithium battery business. No injuries but substantial damage to the business. Feeling very sad for Terry if it is his place and wishing him all the best. John

Police are investigating a shed fire at Mannum overnight.
Police, paramedics and fire crews responded to reports of a large building fully engulfed in flames on Adelaide Road, Mannum at 10.45pm on Friday 28 April.
Neighbouring residents were evacuated as a precaution. There were no reports of injuries and the fire was contained to the building.
MFS and CFS crews extinguished the fire but remain on scene to control any hotspots.
The building, which contained a lithium battery business, was extensively damaged and is not structurally sound.
Residents were warned to stay indoors and keep windows closed due to potentially toxic smoke emanating from the fire.
Adelaide Road was closed for a short time overnight but reopened around 4.30am.
Fire cause investigators will attend the scene today to try to determine the cause of the fire.
