VENTOLIN RECALL

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

VENTOLIN RECALL

Copied from Caravanners Forum.

Just checked my spare ones and two out of the three are on the list.

From ABC News
-----------------------------------------
Asthma sufferers are being advised to check their medication after a nationwide recall of some inhalers.

Up to 10 batches of Asmol and Ventolin inhalers manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline are believed to contain a fault that may deliver the wrong dose.

The Ventolin batches affected are KN7170, KN7173, KN7178 and KN7179, and the Asmol batches affected are KL6790, KL6795, KL6796, KL6797, KL6798 and KL6799.
Dr Andrew Yeates from the company says it is best for people to check with their chemist if they feel something is not right.

"We have assessed the situation and the medical risk of this is in fact very low," he said.

"We also want to reassure patients that the correct thing to do is if they feel that they're not getting their usual relief from their puffer, it is important that they seek medical advice."
