Thanks Glenda, we used to live in GOD"S COUNTRY Lake Conjola up until about 5 years ago, moved out here to get away from all the Canberra and Sydney yobos. Nice place but we are now to the stage of selling up and hitting the road full time until we get sick of it or until Chris can't travel any more. Then back to the Central Coast maybe in a granny flat or a mobile home park.
On the road full time, sometimes?????

Finally exchanged contracts on house yesterday, so now time to pull finger out and get out by the 31st of July. Most of the packing and down sizing has been done. Just need to take stuff to places where we are going to setup van and where we will be storing stuff we want when we can't travel anymore. Pick up van on the 1st of August in Frankston then work our way back to Yanderra on the Southern Highlands NSW (don't know why I chose this place bloody cold !!!!!), then to Morisset to pick up other stuff and to meet up with some friends and then we are off till christmas. Hopefully we will run into some nice friendly people in our travels LOL.

Well done! I love it when all your plans start coming together!
I'm in the middle of that "do we keep it or throw it" stage......... not an easy decision is it?
What ever you throw out today you'll need tomorrow!!

Ahhhhh that brings back some memories, all that frustration of selling the house! then the getting rid of the stuff and now in hind sight I would and should have gotten rid of a lot more, it's all soooo irrelevant when you are out here living the dream, we have a shed full of stuff stored and daughters house and when we go back we will sell 80% of it!!! We've even chucked out a lot of what we've been carting across the country for the last 20 months ( WOW that went quick!!!) My advise is discard the old way of thinking and embrace the new, free, unattached, thinking. You wont regret it, it takes the weight of the world off you.

Sooooo happy for you and you wont regret it............Just ENJOY it's sooooooo worth it.

Good onyu for pulling thy finger out. I am finding it hard enough packing up for a few months travel let alone the house etc. Wishing you all the very best for your travel plans. :D
