Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Tanks,
Keith glad you have made the decision to relocate back to WA . But will miss the opportunity to call in to Dysart and watch the wheely bin get emptied.
All the best for your up coming adventure you may have to get the Jag cleaned up so you can visit your old haunts.

Peter, if the WA authority won't give me a driver's license, I will end up sitting on a skateboard and pushing with my elbows to keep it mobile.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Tanks,
We wish you all the best with your move, and hope to see you before you leave. Trying to organise things ATM.

Had a fun conversation with the CityLink people in Melbourne yesterday. 😀
Two trips on EastLink turned up in our account.
Not only have we never used EastLink, but we were not in Melbourne on the November date concerned.
Call centre chappie said “It’s on your account, so you must have been using EastLink.”
He wouldn’t accept that we’d remember driving 350km to use a road we have no reason to use. (All our family live west of the city.)
After asking him to check the rego of the vehicle which incurred the tolls, he came back with the number of a car I had sold earlier that month.
He argued that we still were responsible because I didn’t remove that car from my account until January, when I added the MU-X.
So I asked to speak to his supervisor. He wanted to know why!! 🙄
Told him I was not satisfied with his answer.
He put me on hold for about 45seconds, then came back to tell me, “I have credited your account for the two trips.”
😁😁😁
Had he put me through to his supervisor it would have been noted on his record that he was unable to resolve a complaint… 🤔😳
Could have affected his continued employment.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

That’s true, but we had a bazillion other things to think about, and I didn’t get around to doing it until just before we planned to head SW to the corner of SA.
A diversion to Melbourne to see Son-&-Heir was a possibility (didn’t work out — diary dates).
I still reckon that once we established that I no longer owned the car concerned, he should have agreed to chase the new owner for the tolls.
Regards & God bless,

Same happened to us, when we sold the VW old mate went through a toll on his way home.
I got the bill...rang them up told them the story, they excepted mine and chased him.
I had all his details from the sale address and such. which I handed over to them.
Never heard anything else about it.
Bernie.

Keith maybe I shouldn't say this on a Forum , but I'm still on my Vic license after a few years here in WA.
I got stopped a few years driving a WA-registered vehicle that didn't have a WA driver ( and you think you can hide in another state ?)
The nice policeperson asked for my license, I gave him my Vic license,
How long have you been here in WA ?
I honestly replied, About 3 Months, and in a few months I'll be in NT or QLD, then back here, maybe for a while before going back to Vic ( unsaid bit - to visit my sister )
Ohh OK
So I said it would be highly inconvenient if I had to change my license every time I went back for the summer and here for the winter.
Ohh Ok Driver , take care.

That was the last I ever heard about it , so I'm still on a Vic license. Maybe the same could apply for you ?

I have a Tasmanian licence, I was pulled over for breath test... didn't give a shite about me driving a Qld registered vehicle.
I passed the test 😁
The vehicle is registered in mine and Carol's name

My problem Ron, is that I have to have a medical every year to allow me to drive. My Qld drivers license is good till 2014 but the medical may knock me out.
