Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Morning all n Dot.
We are off again to Maryborough for more needling...it has worked so far with Carol, she was almost pain free yesterday...even sat at the dinner table with out her BUM cushion
Didn't get much done around the home yesterday, not that there's anything to do :D
Two things dropped into place yesty, more about that in a day or so ;) ;)
got our power bill and we have been running two window rattlers most of the time and the bill was only $20 more than normal. Happy with that
Still no word on repair people coming to fix the main aircon
Keep cool.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. We've had a few more showers overnight. Unlike what the southern states have been told to expect today. Couldn't believe how busy the early morning traffic on the motorway, 5 am is the same as peak now.
Nothing much else to report. Enjoy your bin truck day Tanks, looks like we won't get up to Dysart to visit you now.
Safe travels everybody, have a great day.
Morning Bernie.
Cheers

Morning Bernie.
After the bin truck excitement today, I am off to the local GP for a Spirometer test. This is for the Mackay lung specialist to check when I have the Telehealth "consult" on Friday at the Dysart Hospital TV.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Good morning All. Things don't seem to be going right as of late, I had a tooth filling replaced 2 weeks ago and this morning I noticed that it has worn a hole in my upper denture so back to the dentist today. :x

Just got this from my M8 in NZ, she lives in Albany (NI) and when she went down south to look for a new property this is what she reported..
Dam hot as outside. Have a good day everyone
.
Take care out there .Before I forget 1100 people missing presumed dead since this f@#^%$g Gabrielle raised it's ugly head, Hawkes Bay ,Napier & around that area is a sad sad looking place,I can't see it ever being any different by the silt, sludge ,downed trees dead livestock, family pets etc & it has drastically changed the landscape, fruit farmers have lost 99% of their livelihood terribly sad, for everyone that has gone thru this to the extent they have. Cars trucks farm vehicles all underneath, think about all that fuel oil & shit that will be left to taint the ground, some of it they can't even see where it's gone. Many houses are gone too, some still standing are mainly red stickered. Climate change has been caused by man, big sky scrapers, no grassed areas on sections (the size of handkerchiefs, where do they think the water goes? Houses built with NO STEPS into the house,If we didn't have that here the amount of rain would have gone thru' here too ,but not the like many others that have suffered...

Sue a greenie ?? as she would say "what a hoot" but she is right with the water issues over there, all concrete and water has no where to go, So much undermining of the houses and most of them are on very steep hills. I doubt if Oz would be asked for $$ assistance. BTW Bruce, how is your leg?

Actually Bruce, we are cheapskates. 21st out of 29 in the OECD economies. The eight worst and getting worse.

Australia’s ODA as a proportion of Gross National Income (GNI)—the official measure of development assistance—is expected to remain at the 2021–22 level of 0.20%. This continues to place Australia well below the OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC) country average of 0.32%. In 2020 Australia ranked 21 out of 29 OECD DAC countries on the generosity of its aid, measured by the ODA-to-GNI ratio. On current estimates Australia’s ODA-to-GNI ratio is expected to tail off to 0.17% by 2025–26 (see Figure 1).
