Yep one on the other side as well Bruce, and it does hold the air bag stand, two on top of the stand as well, I have taken them off.

The gap will be minimal.
You'll need to push on both ends at the same time with the same force to stop it binding. A jack in the middle pressing upwards on a decent plate plate will do the job. (me thinks)

Bernie, when your back recovers enough for you to punish it again, does that bolt head drop through a hole in the cross member?
My guess is the spring centre bolt has a collar/sleeve on the bolt head end and that locates all the bits so they don't move around and shear the U Bolts. You might have to heat that bolt head and sleeve then cool it quickly with light oil or WD 40 type spray the expand and the contract the pieces in the hole so they will release from the cross member and air bag bracket.

Well, that trashed a perfectly good theory 
More jacking on he chassis and then between the cross member and the air bag stand to separate them from the cross member, then the air bag stand will come out with the spring if you can't separate them in there.

Another nuffin day was had...bloody boring
Yes all four of the U-Bolts Jon cant move any of them.
Back still crook, does seem slightly betterA
but that's just the pills
I went and sat in the cockpit for a bit yesterday, finally found the flashing lights switch
Carol was with me...checking up on me.. she was also looking at places to put stuff
When said bus gets on the road again.
