Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Hope your pain has gone R n B. Was rather nasty weather today bbrrrr. We went over to Mt Barker for our spike and dyke hair cuts, on the way 3 ambulances went hooping towards home, saw nothing on the return trip so might have been a farm accident or on the other side of town. Went to Aldi for a few bits and some bacon, bugger that on the packet it had "made with less than 5% Australian ingredients? Then there was another pack of short cut bacon and it had the same label but this was "less than 15% . Australian ingredients" What is the problem with using Aust Pork?? needless to say it stayed on their shelf. Time for some rest now so Goodnight everyone x
Goodnight Bobr x
Hope all the sickies are doing OK.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
You are out n about there Dot. Not missing much either. I am on a f**kbook page for Australian owned and made foods. It's very interesting when you find out which companies are not Australian owned anymore. Because of the page, I have bought a lot of different foods over the net, that I didn't even know existed. xxxx
The lair was a hive of activity today. I had a few calls from the painter setting up the delivery of scaffolding and several other people rang with business/house stuff. The silliest was the painter, who rang late afternoon to see if we would be ok to have the scaff delivered later instead of at sparrow's fart tomorrow. As he was talking, the truck had almost finished the delivery. Just all happening very quickly. Painter said he had a week with nothing happening that he wanted to fill with "small" jobs. He does come recommended by a few people so we are not too unhappy that he is moving so fast.
I had a steroid injection into my shoulder today and, so far, so good. The doc said he almost couldn't find any tendon and there is a muscle tear. Don't think I was sooking now.
The scaffolding will be built tomorrow, right across our driveway. So car and caravan are now across the street on their grassy street edge (not the footpath, there is no guttering on that side of the street).
I am exhausted from all this activity.
night all xxx

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Watching thugby now Dot? Definitely not as classy as tour de France, or as pretty either.
xxxx
Scaffolding is now built around the 3 sides of the house that are second story. It has been quite a process to watch and now it's up, well it's almost a structure of beauty in all of it's ugliness.
I have been asked to w**k a Christmas fair at Bathurst in November. It had been kept on hold for most of the year. So for it to suddenly be happening, I have had to start to get a few different things organised. Today's job was to research the square machine to take credit card payments. Well Officeworks has all the stuff and will deliver on Monday or Tuesday, so it's all a new learning curve again. The next things are the caravan to be out into the showground for the festival weekend, so another phone call tomorrow to make that booking. Then tables have to be sourced from a different supplier. I do wish that we could carry enough tables for these events, but weight is such a critical factor.
So the lair has been busy today again and I am in need of some serious ugly sleep. Sleep tight vegemites xxx

Morning Dot. Deb, I will bet that you are happy to have the chance to get out and about again. I was pretty happy that the Tigers cleaned up St Kilda. SWMBO was less than impressed though. Their season is over now. Hope you all slept well.
Cheers

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
George went to the block today to check for weeds etc and to put a couple of signs up for the person that drove a bloody big heavy truck on and left big wheel ruts , some people are just so rude. Tomorrow it the game to watch All blacks V Wallabys, all black team consists of a few new young ones so hope they can settle to the huge task they have. Hope your wound pain has eased Shirley. Deborah get down to that kiln and work work work
And how about some pics of the house's braces? Power went off yesterday due to a prang down the corner and had an encounter with a power pole. Off to bed now so Goodnight everyone x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Looks like your block neighbours are a bit on the feral side Dot. Might have to force yourselves to be down there more often so that you can really get to know the ferals. You are such a slave driver mate . xxxx
Been another busy organising stuff sort of day. Phone calls from Bathurst checking that we do intend on coming, followed up with emails expecting us to pay for the privilege. That's all sorted, so now it is a bit like Dot suggested, there is stuff to be made fast. Except I have been told to avoid things like cutting glass for a couple of weeks to help my shoulder to heal...hmmm.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Deborah the neighbor next to the block is quite good at keeping an eye on things like the mulch thief, but she missed the truck episode. The guy that bought our block (next door) was here today making a temp gateway as he reckons he will be putting a shed up and then will speak to us about the fencing he is going to put up
. Watched the All Blacks v Wallaby's and all in all it was a good game but the umpires were a bit crap. Ended up a draw. Looking forward to the nice warm days we have been promised. Last 2 days we have seen 2 lizards out sun baking, one frightened the crap out of me , I was pulling a few small weeds then it moved and so did I
Brian doesn't bother with them after he has had a quick sniff. Next weekend is the one to sit and vegetate. Go the holdens
Deborah the weekend is over so the w--king week is here for you.
Battery getting low so I shall say Goodnight everyone x

Neighbourhood watch at it's best then Dot. xxxx Slave driver
Our daughter visited today, to return the kayak they borrowed for the school holidays and to have family lunch. It felt so normal. Amazing how hard this virus crap has been on us all. It really has separated us as a family and we have really felt the separation. Here's hoping that we can get even more free with our get togethers. Still feeling for the people stuck in Melbourne, what a stuff up!
