Don't think Aus post stamps anything these days Dot. It seems like they run a line of barcoding along the bottom of the envelope and that's it. So steam those stamps off and glue them on your next outward letters. xxxx
We landed in Bulahdelah with no dramsa. It has been a lovely sunny day and we are situated beside a river. It is very peaceful in this fairly new caravan park...not a sardine tin place either. We have plenty of room around us and no need to swing the pussy around to see the extra space.
Went out to the local pub for dinner, yummo.

I put the un franked stamps in a bit of water and they peel off nicely ready to be reused
What potting mix do people use for their potted plants? I get the good stuff and add a bit of cow poo and water saving crystals but the pots seem to dry out fast plus I use fish stuff every mth but plants just don't seem to thrive any suggestions???? I'm early to bed tonight so Goodnight everyone x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, from my understanding, the top potting mixes already have fertilizer added, so the cowsh is possibly too much. It may also be the reason for the drying out. Perhaps try some fancy self fertilizing pot mix, add some water crystals and nothing else except the plant and water regularly. xxxx
Had a stinking hot day at Bulahdelah. We bought some books at the op shop and then spread our money around the iga and bakery. The town was full of our jayco mates. The checkout lady told us that the new caravan park has been totally full over covid and it has been the saviour for the town. Since the town was bypassed with the Pacific hwy heading off and away, the town seemed to be dying. Now all shops are in use and customers are spending. Nice to hear that the grey nomads can make a positive difference.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Too hot here to sleep, so how are managing with the heat Dot ? xxxx
Shirley and Dot, the sales were all jayco peoples and luckily only a couple paid by card. My statement from the square credit card mob, tells me that they took gst off my sales. I don't earn enough to pay tax and dont want to have to go to all the crap of doing the paper work to get it back. Does this mean that I have to charge people 10% if they use a card? I think this is a way for the gov to really get a hand into my tiny business, so not happy and very unimpressed.
Had a great lunch at the local bowlo and the afternoon was great. Happy hour went for the rest of the day and all is good.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Deb,
I’d explain to customers that you don’t make enough to pay GST on hobby sales, and if they can’t pay cash you’ll have to charge them the GST as the card company automatically deducts it from your small income.
Reckon most people would understand, and if keen enough to buy, will find an ATM nearby.
(It would be good business practice & customer service to scope out ATMs before setting up.)
