Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Where ever they decide to make camp , they are actually good for our environment. They eat organics that otherwise would create unpleasant smells etc. It's just unfortunate that they are creepy little buggers.

They have nothing on the Giant Weta , My first encounter with one of these took a whole can of mortein to subdue the bugger.
Weta burgers were praised by the then tourism minister to the international tourists   Time to say goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Jon d x :D .I see hot crossed buns are on sale now

Dottie,
If you dehydrate a Giant Weta,
does it become a Giant Drya?
🤔😳🤣🤣🤣🙄

Dot is that a spider or a beetle? Whatever it is, don't want it here. xxxx

David, if you saw the size of the blighters that just fly straight into our house, you might change your tune. Germy nasty things.

Whenever we leave the house for more than a few days, I walk around spraying all the skirting boards with surface spray. It is amazing just how many flat on back cockies, we come home to. I rinse every bowl and pot before I use it, I have seen the critters in the most unlikely places.

I managed to clean out the wardrobe today, now I have places to put the Christmas present shirts. The nearest op shop collection bin will be fed soon.

The whole town is in holiday mode, so we joined them and did very little today.

night all xxx

Interesting.

We don't use any sprays in the house and hardly have any bugs.

Morning Dot. ;)

Gee Dot, what's a giant weta? You got me having nightmares of humungous bugs now! xxxx

Jon, I love where we live, but being next to a lake with lovely salt water spray and high humidity, we suffer from invasions of critters from time to time. The way the weather has been lately, I am sure we have moved to the topics.

I am trying to get a hold on some of the crappy chores around the house before the weather cools down enough for me to head back to my shed. The current job is to find some where to permanently store my business stuff, that is not in the spare bedroom. We do have a great storeroom, but daughter has managed to fill it with her stuff. I am trying to clear out some of my stuff, but it seems to be an unending job. Will be the chore for this week, methinks.

sweet dreams xxx

Anyone know the 'snitch-helpline' number that i'm supposed to call to report a party at my neighbours?
There are at least 15 people & 6 cars on the road.
They should all know that it's not allowed with the new law that has been passed with tier 4.
What a bunch of wankers, we're in the middle of a major pandemic and they are ignoring the rules.
I saw them setting the barbecue up, unloading loads of booze, the music has just started and i'm pretty sure i can smell weed.
I genuinely can't believe that people are so thoughtless and self centered, wankers the lot of them.
Anyone know how to report them?.
**Edit**
False alarm.
I've just been invited........ stand down everyone 😎

The Wetas lived in our pump house where we pumped beautiful water from the natural spring. Wetas love the dark damp spaces, they are bugs. Also another couple of species but have not seen them. Out place was right on the beach front but they didn't like the boat shed ? maybe too salty? . I have been going through the years and years of paperwork such as Medical, legal, appliance receipts and operating manuals, car rego,.house plans, bus building plans and anything G could file was there. Shredded the personal stuff, soaked it in a big tub then put on the garden then put the pea straw over the top hoping it may help the moisture stay in where it should be, Next door said they should be moved in this Wednesday ?? Watching Elvis, movie is crap but the body and voice is just yummo   Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Swisslulu x :D
