New bed for Christmas?

Post by BruceS »

How come so many people rush out and buy a new bed just for Christmas visitors to sleep on for 1 or 2 nights?
Isn't it cheaper to book them into a motel?

We have a collection in the front yard with wheels at the corners and they draw straws which vehicle they are sleeping in, no one has slept in Rustic Inn Perfection yet though, could be the wooden slats as a mattress and the fact it's at 45 deg that puts them off, could be the panoramic view as well, there are no curtains either  So with a spare room, 2 lounges, a mattress on the floor and 2 motorhomes in the front yard we seem to have it covered. Margaret’s ex lives just up the road and we all still get along well, he even comes and shares Christmas with us, so there are spare rooms over there as well, and the neighbours come to our Christmas as well and they have a number of spare rooms as well so it would be a big crowd before we had a problem.
