Re: Good morning daily
Don't know if he is home yet, but definitely not unscathed. Is scathed a word Ray? If half of what I have heard is correct then T1 & Margaret have had another adventure.
Cheers

No, it would be a bit unfair to spread someone else's story. And besides all that T1 tells a much better story. He even gets some facts straight.
Edit.. what I meant to say, was he even MIGHT get some facts straight.
I edited this after Peter's post below.

Re: Good morning daily
Morning folks another wet cold day ahead but the ground needs the wet.
Had good success on the market place sell stuff we no longer need or want. Giving the place a good clean out then start again.
Molly is slowly improving but tends to push a bit hard. Nothing planned for the weekend.
Take care and safe driving cheers Robert
Morning Bob how are you?

We are now in Pinnaroo just 200 Ks from our destination
We got 31mm out of one of those storms Bob , according to my next door.
We have traveled around 2700 ks so far
Not far now
I know some of the story Peter, but sworn to secrecy

Re: Good morning daily
Bruce,
Right show, wrong character. It was Sgt Schultz.
The phrase has passed into the language as the “Sargeant Schultz Defence”.
David,
‘Unscathed’ is like ‘disgruntled’. Originally in Middle English there were positives of ‘scathed’ and ‘gruntled’, but only the negatives have survived.
Some people (like my cousin, when we were in our 20s) have revived ‘gruntled’, thinking they have cleverly invented a new word or that if there’s a negative there should be a positive.
Congratulations on another revival!
End of lesson. Class dismissed.

Re: Good morning daily
Seafood Pizza Toast for brekky today: sardines in tomato sauce with mozza cheese on ciabatta bread, grilled.
Forecast is for a cloudy day with a max of 14.
I think winter approaches...
Girt is back from a service & major overhaul. (Only took FIVE WEEKS... parts required from USA! )
Now to start packing for an expedition to the wilds of outback Queensland.
Tanks, we’ll let you know when we’re in the neighbourhood...
