Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Enjoy the fresh air Dot. xxxx

We had a lovely sleep in this morning. Then the stall set up started. I have always only had 2 tables here, but there was a bit of space, so I decided to ask for another table. No dramas and then the set up began in seriousness. There are still a lot of things in boxes, that wouldn't fit on the tables, but the important things are out.

The evening was a meal with fellow stall holders as a fund raiser for the scouts . They choose a different charity each year and this went off well.
We are back in the van and ready for some quiet time.

night all xxx

good news RnB Home for a big hug and lunch, Did you tell your room mates to be quiet? Thats one of the perks of private hosp cover. Your heart specialist is now a granny to a little girl :D Hot again today but didn't need the air con on as the night breeze was enough to cool the place down. G got home from whipper snipping the weeds on the block around 2pm with a cake he said I might like yeah right, I bet he knew I couldn;t so he gets it all to himself sneaky hey? Gunna try to get more stuff packed up for the shed tomorrow, got a bit behind when I was crook. Bed time for me so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Pet-els x :D Happy birthday for tomorrow x

Hoping to have a friend around today to finish installing the fridge anf just need to clean and pack I hope.

Deb how are the sales going hope you are doing well. Safe travelling everyone and live to this crazy weather we are having cheers Robert

Dot, you must be getting the same heatwave as us...yucko xxxx

Robert, good news, hope you stay well and can avoid those nasty places. Nothing is better than your own bed, or in my case, the caravan bed. Sweet dreams mate xxx

Armidale has been so hot that the natives can't come away from the airconditioners. We did pay for the stall, but not much else. All the other traders were just as disappointed as us, but we have had a good weekend with our mates and will return next year for more frivolities. The cent auction last night was a good laugh. We won the first two draws, and that was fun, Most of the prizes that we scored were rocks, some very expensive/rare rocks. As neither of us really wants to deal with rocks, it seems a waste. The club has just welcomed a young family and their young daughter is really keen. I happily gave them a stash of rocks to play with. Honestly, we can't afford to carry that sort of extra weight. The dad was so happy with the stash, so it felt good.

Tomorrow is a rest and shopping day. Then we will have to decide on how our travels will work out. Slow moving and only staying at places for a day or stay on the road a bit longer and then stop for a couple of days each time. The stopping in one place for a couple of days is my choice, but Tuesday will show what we decide.

Next week is supposedly going to be a great one for the weather ie mid 20's all week. Physio and hair on Friday so that gives me some good days to pack more stuff up and take stuff to the op shops. Might have to through some stuff that has already been done   Stay out a bit longer Deborah, make the most of the time away. My wonder boys The Bombers won today but the game wasn't shown on tv down here, Dear Tanks kept me informed at the intervals. Was great to see Tippa back playing again, he got the best reception a footy player has got in a very long time, he is a beautiful human being. Who watched 'Monty Python" tonight.? never fails to spot something new that you missed other times. Back to the bowls Shirley, can't drop your good run now. Bed time so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Annette and Darryl xx :D :D

Actually played bowls y’day Dot & we won :D it was a benefit day for Jamie, he had a stroke at age 49 last year, he was in hospital for over 100 days, his recovery so far is amazing unfortunately it has left him with brain damage, he is at least able to stand & walk a little now, hopefully he will continue to improve.

They had a huge raffle over 50 prizes $5 ticket & auctioned off some cricket memorabilia & a new bowls bag. I won a $100 voucher to the golf shop in Gosford, I was happy will be able to buy a hat/cap, top, even maybe a glove to wear bowling as I don’t play golf, never even tried it except for putt putt.

Great advice Dot. We do plan to slowly travel up to Dayboro (back of Brisbane, sort of) and spend Easter there for a national gemboree festival. Two weekends after that, we will be back in Western Sydney for another gem event. Enjoying the slower days while we can. Hope you get that cooler weather mate xxxx

Shirley, that fundraiser was for a very great cause. Sorry I couldn't support it. xxx

Today, we tried to get in early and vote in the state election. Difficult to get a park and then the actual voting process took ages. The poor people trying to help us, were not properly trained to be running the show. We did finally get the voting done and by then we were starving.

Had lunch at the same pub that we ate in last week. Good food and good prices.

Spent the afternoon sorting out the rego for his beast and doing a few other administrivial things.

Tomorrow we will head out to Tenterfield and see if we can find a saddler.

sweet dreams xxxx
Deborah

Well done Shirley. I never win anything. :( Got a good husb though. I did nothing today but a few phone calls to 1/find a mirror for the bus, 2/ appointment for podiatrist for G's new corn 3/ Appointments for him and me for skin checks. 4/ Appointment for Brian for the vet to give him his worm stuff and ear cleaning. That was my fun filled day. I actually had grilled tomato, bacon and a runny egg on a piece of toast for tea, took me just under an hr to get through it without choking but I made it. Aiming to have a truckie hamburger this year but I will have to divide it up as I can't open my mouth wide enough TO EAT. Hope being home is doing your leg ok RnB but if you are being silly and not keeping it elevated then you will get a spanking (from Molly) Wonder how Ray's start went today?? Take it slowly home Deborah. Stop and suss the op shops :D Bed time so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Norman x :D
