Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

After you get your storm water sorted Dot, can you come and figure ours out please? I am starting to wonder if we have a spring running under the lake side of our block. As soon as it rains we need our wellies just to go closer to the lake. Have fun in Mannum xxxx

Thanks for your support Dot, David, Ray and Keith. It really is amazing how long this recovery has taken, but the rainbow is looking a bit friendlier at the moment.

Today He came with me to act as GPS to find our skin specialist. She is in a weird spot and I rarely can find it , so the walking gps came for the ride. I had a cyst removed from my abdomen, nothing serious or exciting, just a bit sore now.

Shirley, you will be pleased that I hear your reminder to slow down whenever I get to the Lake Munmorah traffic lights.

Back to being quiet in the lair for a while.

Nighty night xxx
Deborah

Good news for sure Deborah. Have the storm water all sorted, this Barossa council have been fantastic, man from the hospital maintenance boys came to inspect the offending drain, they put the fire hose in it and there was no blockage so now they and the council will do some more investigations, We got to Mannum around lunch time dropped in on the T! workshop for a cuppa then back to the block but stopped at the op shop for a fix, $5 bag and 2 near new pr thongs . Back to the bus, did washing had a nanna nap then tea. Not a bad day . Pluvers are not so jumpy when we go out the bus, Bed time now so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Robert not Bob x :D

Here are the plovers, put a couple of bricks either side of their 2 eggs so you know where they are ie Right in the middle of the driveway. Was a good day today enjoyed getting out into the fresh air and snooping the op shops. Over the road have just turned their Xmas lights on so that will be a pic for tomorrow night. I thought I had lost my reading glasses today so found 3 pair of perfect ones in the op shop $2 each so now I have a pair in the 2 cars the bus and in my handbag. Back in the bus first thing I saw were my original glasses  Deborah it won't be too long before you are back at the markets the way you and the old boy are progressing. Still take things easy though. Brian is waiting on the bed for his cuddle so take care everyone and Goodnight to you all x :D Goodnight Wayne & Nini xx :D :D Are you being evacuated, or have you gone already?

Dottie,
I’d have put the bricks ON TOP of the eggs!
… then jumped on them to make sure we had a good foundation for the driveway.

🤬 Bluddy Pluvvers!! 😡

With all the new technology regarding fertility recently, a 65-year-old friend of mine was able to give birth. When she was discharged from the hospital and went home, I went to visit.

'May I see the new baby?' I asked.
'Not yet,' she said 'I'll make coffee and we can visit for a while first.'
Thirty minutes had passed, and I asked, 'May I see the new baby now?'
'No, not yet' she said.

After another few minutes had elapsed, I asked again, 'May I see the baby now?'

'No, not yet' replied my friend. Growing very impatient, I asked, 'Well, when can I see the baby?'

'WHEN HE CRIES!' she told me. 'WHEN HE CRIES?' I demanded. 'Why do I have to wait until he CRIES?'

'BECAUSE I FORGOT WHERE I PUT HIM, O.K.

I'm now 85 years of age and living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no address, no money, no worries.

Today was a totally NUTTIN DAY and I mean NUTTIN, I have not been outside all day and just been laying around ringing friends and doing crosswords and Nanna napping. G has been trimming a couple of trees but being careful not to disturb the plovers too much   why don't you like them Ray? better parents than a lot of human parents. Heading into Birdwood in the morning to catch up with a friend who has a house right on the river Murray at Walkers Flat just before Mannum Neil Kerley's house is right next door so that will also go. Couple of good junk shops to visit as well and might do the Car Museum again along with op shop ;) Then having a coffee with our old GP who has set up shop in Birdwood and Mt Pleasant. Going to be a rather warm tomorrow summer has arrived but for how long? Keep safe everyone, hope all the sickies are feeling better. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Deborah x :D
