Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Ray, as a Victorian I must say that you should be ashamed of yourself. But if you are a born and bred product of NSW ,then, I will let you off. The result today was dismal. The Sydney team forgot to turn up. I've had a great day, by myself.
Walked the dog watched the footy a bit. Worked on the Winny, then watched a couple of great movies, Joe v the volcano and Fried Green Tomatoes (at the Whistle Stop Cafe). Oh, and had a couple of sips too. Probably regret it in the morn, we'll have to wait and see.
Haven't watched the other footy yet. 😁
Cheers

Soccer?

Left Ceduna, stopped off to see Australia's biggest windmill and our p!ssy little one. Drove down to Fowlers Bay to see the non-existent whale, and catch the (also) non-existent fish from the pier. Climbed the sand hills. Drove very slowly in and out.

Parked up and will head to the Head tomorrow. Seems like we'll get half way between the Head and Eucla and then head back and have a slower trip back. Reckon we're doing about 200ks a day.

Murphy's Haystacks from the other day.

Enjoy it all mate. I'm glad that you are all creating lifetime memories.
And no. Not soccer. The Rabbits are playing the Panthers. Go the Bunnies.

Dot, how often do you have candles lit apart from on birthday cakes? xxxx

Today was a really good sale morning. We were getting good sales and all was happy. Until a huge storm set in. The noise was humungous and the customers put their money away and went home. We sold a few more things after the rain stopped, but the momentum had been slowed.

Tonight, in the van, we had another mighty loud storm. The speed that the water was falling was amazing. Now the night is clear, quiet and very starry. Hoping the current forecast for tomorrow, for a full sunny day with no signs of rain can be believed.

Made 36 sausage rolls, froze most of them and put some aside for Gman. Also did a Cauliflower cheese bake for the freezer and potato bake and Chow mien to do tomorrow also for the freezer for our week away. Well the Cats killed the swans but I only picked them because they were original VFL club. Got a lump in thy throat watching the nicest tennis player say his goodby to his profession even Raffa shed a tear. Roger was such a gentleman. Visitors bearing a big bunch of sweet peas, the lady was a Neighbour of G's many years ago, she has been having Chemo for bloody breast cancer. Dam thing is everywhere. Deborah re the candle question, I very often have a nice smelly candle lit and the younger generation are also into candles just try one or two. ;) Hope the weather is better for you tomorrow. Keep warm and dry. It was another beaut day today, sunny and warm, wisteria is starting to bloom and the scent is beautiful. Time for a nice hot bath so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Tanks x :D

Dottie,
Funny you should mention wisteria.
We planted two, either side of the arbor.
Same tubs, same soil, same watering regime.
Both did well last spring and summer. Went dormant for winter. Spring is here now.
One has new growth and leaves shooting; the other looks dead. Still green when we scratch the bark, but it’s playing possum. 😢
If nothing happens in the next week or two, its next home will be the green bin. We have another one waiting in the wings…
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Dot--
You have "Our George" to open bottles, so don't overdo it. Get the bottles with a cork stopper.

Keith,
You generally can’t buy bottles with corks anymore.
Well, not the ones with red or pale green stuff in them… unless it’s the sparkly varieties.
And the green bottles with brown fizzy stuff in them are mostly screw caps (except the Tassie ones and the boutique brewers’ stuff).
😀

Ray---It just shows that I am behind the times. They still have Bic biro pens, so I am almost up to date.
