Good afternoon all. Well it's a bit of a sad day as I am putting the Hino on the market. I have procrastinated long and hard over the thing and this is where it has come to. Age, finance (and the return on input of both) is now too limited I reckon so it is on it's way. It was a good idea at the time......but common sense now rules.

For Sale
1994 Hino BC144 Bus
Used
PMC 160 Cub body, previously a 37 seat school bus
Reg (SA) SB37MV
Registration as a Van Vehicle with 1 x double original passenger seat.
Registration currently paused.
Diesel
Nine metre PMCA Cub body, 6 cyl mid mount Hino diesel, 5 speed gear box, power steer, flat floor, large rear boot, stretched panel bonded windows with top sliders, tilt steering, rear side emergency exit door, ISRI driver’s seat, excellent ceiling height, ceiling hatch tow bar, tyres very good, highway differential.
New windscreen glass, new (changeover) steering box, front spring (rear) shackles replaced, front brake slave cylinders replaced, some cupboards installed, basic tilting bed frame installed, never used (I am told) 3 burner SMEG cooker with oven supplied, used Panasonic microwave oven, Mazda bucket seat (never used, new) for passenger supplied but needs mounting fittings and headrest, all other original seating removed. Destination board and rear window removed and blanked with aluminium panels. Drivers seat springing repaired and squab re-covered by N V Picton.
Part completed project.
I have got $17.5k on it but will listen to offers.

Sad day Bob, but I suppose if you aren't going to be able to complete it and enjoy using it then it's better to let someone else make it their project and see if they can get to put it to good use. I'd offer to buy it off you but I can't even imagine what Margaret would say if I put yet another vehicle in the workshop yard and added yet another project to the long list

Always sad and a disappointment to have to bail out of a project.
Someone will get as much joy from doing it as you would have Bob.

Move along now to a project a little less taxing p'raps ?

Good luck mate 8-)
