I'm posting this with a sadness in my heart.
As much as I love trains and after collecting tons of model trains, over the last 33 years. it takes up too much of my time, and I am struggling to keep up with the everyday basics due to health issues, such as cleaning, keeping fit and maintaining the home, so something has to give. I will be getting rid of my equipment & collection.

Just had my birthday and received a few nice toys as well.
4 x Open trucks, 3 x Louvered vans and Three Milk tankers but none of that other stuff cheers

thought that you where serious re the model trains, bloke opposite early seventies even closed in under his house to set up his model train village, he also collects steam engines/ motors.

It's a great hobby but it does need a lot of room, hence closing in under the house. Did that my self many years ago.
