Girt is SOLD!!

We have finally decided that Girt is getting too much for us.
We’re both having difficulty with the five steps entry, and we no longer use her as much as we did in past years (2020 excepted, when no-one travelled!). We’ll be looking for something smaller.
Girt is a 2003 Winnebago Explorer with 150,000km on the dial. Well, she will have when we return home from this final trip in her.
I will post more details later.
Starting point for negotiations is $120,000.
If the buyer is willing to come to Rutherglen to collect her, I will be more generous.
Tilta-Trailer is available for extra $$$.

You are not going to get a replacement vehicle anywhere near the build quality of the early Winnies. But I suppose that you already know that.

Yes, Dottie, we will miss Girt, but we have to face reality. We’re not as young as we were when we bought Girt.
We’ve done The Big Lap in her... three years. And she’s been a comfy home-away-from-home.
But even despite Covid we don’t do the big trips we used to, so we don’t need a m/h this big any more.
So she has to go.

No, we bought her with 40,000km on the dial in 2009.
In 2003 Girt was the top-of-the-range fit out in the Explorer range, which came in threes sizes: 25ft; 32ft & 38ft.
BTW, at 8.1tonnes and single rear axle, you need a MR licence.
