Unable to send SMS/ text message on my Samsung mobile phone, been told I have a virus on the phone, how do I clear the virus?? Anyone know??

Yes I can make & receive phone calls Jon, when I press the icon to send a message a pale blue halo appears around the icon then the phone goes back to start up screen, my phone is with Boost owned by Telstra.
I can also receive messages but can't answer or send one.

the little stall at Woolies Lake Munmorah is very good at fixing those kinds of crappy events. They are not overpriced and often will do the work while you have a coffee next door.

Thanks Deborah, I did get a new battery put in Bruce's old iPhone at that stall at LM.
