I think I know a little about electricity, I know AC/DC/DCC theory and the physics of it but I don't get the pic :oops: :o :D

Tesla(?), the bloke on the left, advocated AC power transmission for home electricity supply.
Edison, on the right, advocated DC, claiming AC was too dangerous.
DC could only be sent over short distances and would have required a generator virtually on every city block. Not practical.
That's why we have AC power today.
