Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Boonah RSL Sub Branch was a good club in the old days. I don't know what the present situation is.
Boonah had a Squadron of 2/14 Queensland Mounted Infantry (QMI Light Horse)back about 1956 ish when I was in QMI.
QMI also had a Squadron located in Beaudesert. Check out the bowling clubs in both towns when you have spare time.

Keith, I'm not sure about the Boonah RSL, but the Beaudesert RSL has kicked on and is doing quite well. Good place for a feed and a cold beer.
The Boonah bowls clubs was struggling to retain members the last time we wandered in.

A big thank you to George and Dottie, Sherril Brian for their help yesterday getting the solar panels on the roof of the houseboat. Still trying to get back to pre hernia op lifting capabilities, then hopefully a bit beyond that so I'm not so reliant on people to help move the the gear that weighs more than about 10kgs.

Back to fitting the panels on the rails we glued down yesterday across the back of the second level patio, panels on the roof of second level (thanks again George) and Margaret has removed the plastic MC4 plugs and linked the cables, soldered and heat shrunk ready to connect up with the diodes and run down to the electrics area under the stairs on the lower level.
Still have to bolt Sherril's fridge in place, then she says she wants to leave .... I'll be back to opening the gates myself :(

The Bowls Club in Beaudesert used to have mighty good meals at a reasonable cost.

Good morning everyone. Dunno what I did with my earlier Good morning. Had an early start at the junior footy today, it was pretty busy with a bunch of young 'uns chasing a footy round the ground. I got a bit more done on the trailer yesty. Has new tyres and one new rim now.
Helen the RSL in Beaudesert is up the hill from the traffic light. Has a big propeller in the car park.
Have a wonderful weekend everybody, safe travels.
Cheers

Third successive day of fog!
Hung around longer today… didn’t lift until 11:30!
😳😳😳
Shopping trip this morning. After-lunch break now, until SWMBO sounds the horn for gardening assistance… after which I’m free to go into my PlayPen & muck about with wood. 😀
Regards & God bless,
Ray
