Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning All. Showers overnight with more forecast for today and tomorrow, just enough to delay my deck work :( . I have been checking things on the bus, getting ready for my trip down south beginning next Sunday. As it was raining yesterday Julie managed to purchase a shoe cabinet for me to assemble while I had time.

Late good morning. Pulled into a camp spot below Lock 9. Came down the old mail road from Mildura way . Was expecting a bit of a bush track but turned out to be quite a good gravel road. Cheers John

Might be a good evening for a Dubliner or two, I have driven the "Bus From Hell" out of the workshop and into the sun to check if the solar works ..... and it does 8-) Now to finish mounting the fridge in place, the DC to DC charger in its place and the solar controller into where ever I can find space to put it .... Then get the electrics mounting board back into the cupboard over the door, seems the over head cupboards are a few cigarette papers too far forward making it a very tight fit, but nothing the soft blow hammer won't fix  Then the hinges and door on that cupboard, refit the folding table and clean it all up ready for Monday's pick up by the owners .... and find out if they still want me to cut out part of the stairwell panelling so I can add a perspex window so they can see the inverter

After 6 mths of torment, I won't be sad to see it drive away ;)

Looks like a very peaceful spot, just not particularly solar friendly  How long are you camping there?

Batteries were full when parked and we won't be using much power overnight. The rest of the area was either uneven or had dead smelly carp thrown up on the bank. Another camp fire soon and to cook a BBQ. probably home tomorrow. ( a bit of late sunshine on the van now )
Cheers

Good morning everyone.
Well we started the job of removing the left hand side spring, a not so easy task
So far the front spring nut and bolt...nut only at this stage, the four U-bolts nuts also removed, and the shock absorber is off. Just the rear spring hanger to go...I hope :D ;)
It will depending on whether I can get away without removing the air bag??? and the sway bar could also be a pain...maybe. I had to crack all the nuts with a LOOOONG bar before using the rattle gun, I don't think any of the nuts have ever been undone. :x
That was my day....blood test today at the quacks. :D :D
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Morning all.

Beautiful days at Taggerty. Mown. Wood collected. Sun booked ready to go.

Bernie. You'll need to replace the u bolts and nuts. They're a one use only because they stretch tight when doing them up.
