Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!
Morning everyone.
It's a bit cooler this morning... but the weather was predicted to be cold... down to 4 degrees outside, up to 22 inside... Fire is lit...was 13 when I got up...
I washed Carol's car...and some of the motorhome .
The almost forgotten hedge is still on the to do list
Carol will be off to bingo today...
Nothing planned for today yet.
Keep safe.

Good morning everyone, it's coming on 10.30pm here in Edinburgh. We had a bit of a budget breakfast this morning, no bacon and egg in sight.
We all hopped on the bus and headed into town, our local guide today was very knowledgeable with all the goings on from years gone by. Toured the new town area, which is about 250 years old or so. Then we headed up to the castle, which is in the old part of Edinburgh. First thing we all noticed is the preparations being made for the annual military tatoo. Fun fact for the day, it's all done outside the castle, just. So much history in that place. Very interesting, especially if you have any Scottish heritage.
We then went down in the old Haymarket part of town and had a roast beef lunch. Yummo, and had a cuppla Scottish beers called Tennetts I think. We then wandered back towards the hotel. Finished up catching the tram back. That was a bit interesting, cuppla camp fire stories there.
Have a top day everbody, we're are of to a distillery tomorrow, I think.
Cheers
David

Good morning everyone. Bright sunny morning here in Edinburgh.
We haven't seen any swans on our trip yet. Don't know what today will bring, yet.
Safe travels everybody.
David, Tanks here--- I have a friend lives in Edinborough. Say hello to him if you meet up with him.
I forgot his name, but he lives near the castle.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.
Good morning.
It was a slow day...
The kitchen is ready to be pulled apart... but that's not happening till next week, we will be away from Friday...
Carol had a phone call from the hospital...we are going to Bundaberg tomorrow week to get the stuff needed for the up coming operation...
She had a win at bingo and is up to date with all the gossip .
Keep safe.
Bernie.
Good morning everbody. It's almost 4.30 am here at Blairgowrie in Scotland. We went to St Andrews yesty. I wish my golf was of a high enough standard to play a round. But it isnt. There is some amazing old architecture there, and the ruins of the cathedral at the end of the main street. Side visit was to a whiskey distillery. That was interesting, but I couldn't afford a bottle of their single malt. I did enjoy the sampling though.
Today we are going looking for the Loch Ness monster. I'll put up a pic if I see it. There is some beautiful scenery up here, I wish my pics could do it justice. Yesterday we saw Highland cattle, some saddleback pigs, lots of ducks and seagulls, even saw a couple of grouse and a pheasant, but still no swans. Maybe they don't live up here.
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers
David
