Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good onya Bruce 👍. It took me 10, maybe 15 years to acclimatise to Qld weather. You couldn't pay me to move back to Victoria now.
A generator, a bit of fuel, box of beer and a bit of tucker. What else do you need? Roll on Qld summer storms.
OK, maybe a cuppla bottles of red. Thanks for the mental reminder Ray. :D
We are kinda in limbo land at the moment, repairers saying one thing, and insurer being real hard to talk to a human.
Whatever, tomorrow the sun will come up.
Cheers

RUOK Terry & Margaret? I've been thinking of youse & your predicament.
Battling on, we are heading off for another house open hr this afternoon, after Margaret has a scan at yet another hospital in Adelaide ..... not sure what this one is for, not the foot, might be to do with ulcerative colitis findings ..... These stress on stress on stress events can't be helping that much at all ......

Well, after driving for ages, we reach Myponga ..... and discovered most of the shops were for lease or simply closed, but there was a servo and a takeaway across the road.
Drove around a bit to look at the place, drove past the front and Margaret announced, no matter how good the house is, I'm not living way out here ..... so I'm guessing the one at Cape Jarvis is off the list as well

We had an outside look at a place in Woodchester, Margaret considered it could have character .... seems it was the Woodchester general store in it's early days, had goats running on the rest of the 6 acres .......https://www.realestate.com.au/property- ... -149397960

Headed home and took Brian to the pub for dinner .... we all ordered the beef spare ribs quite a meal, add 2 stubbies of Coopers Stout and I'm full as a chook ..... it was a most enjoyable evening.

Now to wait for all that food to settle down further before attempting to lay down on the bed

Terry, as we all get older, one of the most important things to remember is the access to medical assistance. It is all relative to distance and time from regional medical centres. Getting old sucks, we all know that. But don't cut off your nose to spite your face.
From my experience with over zealous knob ends from council, their big hurrah is preventing oil on the ground. Maybe if all the cars in the yard at Mannum, could be demonstrated to contains no oil, then they might cut you a bit of slack. Long story, blah blah, when I'm looking at you next.
I hope that you and Marg can work out a suitable resolution to these current dramas.
Cheers

Good morning.
We had another thunder storm yesterday evening... all up we got 37 mm since this time yesterday... and no Bruce tanks are not full..😁😋 it's not the rain that Dave on the gold coast got... but better than none..
Nothing achieved yesterday...I did have a look at the car trailer...I need to somehow raise the jockey wheel up a few inches...I had to put timber down and run the ute up on them so I had enough height to put the jockey wheel down with out digging a hole under it.. so it could swing down 😡😩..
I have nothing planned yet for today...
That not being able to talk with a human gets under my skin as well Dave... plus after finally getting a human and being told I will get a phone call back from them and... nothing happens 😡😡...I was to get two calls yesterday... still waiting...
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. It is a bright sunny morning here right now. Might get to 25⁰, so says BoM. We had 128mm since it started raining Sunday night. The little water tank is full. The gutters all overflowed. Flat rain got into the Winny, but it couldn't get much more water damaged.
Terrie spent an hour on hold to CiL before she spoke to a human yesty. Probably because of the storm they had further up north.
I'm going to have to try to make the roof of the Winny waterproof today, nothing gunna happen while we are overseas for the next few weeks or so. Don't need any more water on the floor.
Happy hump day everybody, safe travels.
Cheers
