I am still in Kilmore as things have turned a bit upside down with Kevin in hospital since early in the week.

I intend to leave here Wednesday night or Thursday morning to preform other tasks for a week or so

I hope to be setup on Thursday night in my private camp site and get few small tasks completed and then settle for a few quiet days and nights on my own doing nothing but cooking food and eating it and watch the birds and animals during the day and the stars at night.

Hope all your people going to the Easter do don't over do it and have some energy left for other times

T1 remember that all the durif does not have to be consumed in one week and it will survive a few more days past that date.

The budget has been stretched to max in the past cupla days - but that's not really anything unusual here.

Did a big shopping expedition on Thursday - dunno where the hell it all went, but now not game to put the van over the scales!!

Washed the van & awning yesterday morning, then the Cruiser in the afternoon... big buggers, both of em !

This morning we did a final vegie/fruit shop at the Local Woolies... & as we walk in noticed a sign saying "Spend $150 & get 20c/L off your next fuel purchase. Looked at the Navigator & she shook her head, saying "Won't be spending anywhere near that amount after Thursdays effort!" So we continued & as the trolley started filling my grey cells are ticking over & I reckoned we weren't gunna be too far off that $$$ figure.

Chose the self checkout & as we were getting close to the bottom of the trolley she looks at the amount on display & says... "We can go this... I'll just go & get summat else."

Comes back a moment later wit a magazine. Nope not quite enough. Back few seconds later with another box of cereal & some salad stuff. That did it!

So, when we next fill up - irrespective of the price per L - the cost is gunna be at least $24 less than shown on the pump.

And yes, I know you don't really save a lot... but it's a mind game & she likes it.

Tomorrow morning at 0930 we us stakes & head to Jugiong show grounds for the first night then on to Police Paddocks to catch up with Kay & Bruce - think Lesley & Erich will probably have already departed for Little Annie by the time we get there. Possibly into Little Annie on Wednesday.
