When I brought home our first Apple Mac with a (separate) 5Mb hard drive, I thought we'd never fill it.
In those days, I had the system, a word processing program and my data on a 400Kb 2.5" floppy.
When setting it up I intoned (seriously) to our then six-year-old son,
"One day, computers will have built-in hard drives as big as 1Tb. I'll never see it, but it will probably happen in your lifetime!"
