Cautionary tale from experience.

If you run out of water or drain your tanks make sure the 240v to the water heater is turned off as otherwise it will burn out. Far to easy to forget the obvious.

Easy job to replace it if you have a 39mm tube spanner (stress tube spanner not a thick walled socket) but these are very hard to find.
