Futter Creek

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Most of those metro buses that come from Adelaide can't be registered or used anywhere in Australia including SA because they are over width.
The Transport SA mob get special permission to run them on Metro bus routes.
There was a chap in Adel buying them for about 4,000 at auction & slicing 4" of each side & replacing the sides back on & then getting them "engineered" for rego but I think he had too much trouble with the approval side of it.
Be careful buying a used metro bus from Adelaide!!!

They called them "Bendy Buses" hear in Brisbane, I believe there was some legal problems with privately registering them here also, possibly something to do with the legality of carrying passengers in a trailer. There was one travelling around as a mobile book exchange, it was for sale a couple of years back
