Dot's update...

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Lots of hugs for you young lady. I understand this week will feel like hell on earth, but it can only get better from now, so do what you are told etc and try to get some rest....Yeah, like the nurses who will wake you up at 4;30am to give you a panadol. Like if you are finally asleep, I do hope that they leave to stay asleep. Thinkin of ya mate. xxxxxxxxxx

Hey, Dottie!
Get well... real soon!

That means resting if the nurses tell you you need rest;
And no chasing the male nurses... I'll tell G! :D

Seriously, we all miss your sparkling wit & Naughty Nana jokes etc.
Not to mention the innuendo posts.
(Innuendo: an Italian suppository. )
So take things easy, and get back on this Forum soon.

Joy sends her best wishes, too.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Tell Dot for us to be aware / beware of G bringing pills.
And ...... Wasn't there some story from my childhood about Greeks with gifts or something like that.

Latest:

Spoke with Dot earlier today.

All going well & hoping for a return home over the weekend.

Not real happy with the nursing staff... a big difference since G was in the same hospital. She has been keeping a log of incidents where she has sought assistance & not received it, also where IV/drip alarms have activated but not been cancelled or the reason for activation sought by the nurses... extremely annoying when trying to sleep. Last night she had a senior nurse of African heritage who was an absolute angel, did everything she was supposed to do & more... & she was the one in charge. Only 4 nurses on the night shift for 83 patients - including kids! Not good enough is it?

Unfortunately no laptop for Dot yet, she is still lying flat on her back.
