New Van On The Way

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

I'm not sure there is a difference, Dot. Which ever one you watch, you see the same thing over and over!

Perhaps there is a difference - in one of them there is nobody in the panties.

I often wondered how they could sell such an expensive controller so cheap, that explains it, is the name on the case the same and all, so a direct clone on the outside?
There was someone on the caravanner forum berating me that quality MPPT controllers were not as expensive as I had claimed and quoted a very low price for a Midnite Solar controller, so no doubt the same clone and he simply didn't realise he'd been conned  but then MPPT for battery charging is a con as far as I'm concerned anyway

Looking forward to the run down on what you think of the new unit once you have taken delivery and the first shake down trip, it is a very nice looking unit that's for sure.

The case does not have any name on it, and that was what alerted me to the subterfuge !! The cast alloy casing is a good replica and the internal components look tidy and well organised but I suppose "the proof of the pudding is in the eating"

Certainly looking forward to getting the van home and fitting my charging regime along with the inverter and solar.

I have also arranged to upgrade the tyres from 245/70/16 to 265/70/16 with a slightly higher load index. The GT Savero AT's will be operating fairly close to their maximum rating and the Hankook Dynapro AT's have a much higher load index.
