We had one of those 50+mt trucks a way behind us and he asked what speed I was doing, I replied "85kph and that when he was ready to pass me I would back off" he then said he would "wait till after the end of the double lines then he would pass as his top speed was 90kph" When I said "you must be the only one to wait for the end of the double lines" he responded with a laugh and said "everything he and the truck does is recorded" With the end of the double lines I slowed down and he passed effortlessly and sending a thank you message to boot

Passed 8 or 9 road trains today. None hitting more than 95 and some slower. Sat behind two and watched one pass the other. Very professional. Not going to be the issue for cars that i thought it would be. I am currently travelling the trial road. Slow vanners and motorhomers may be in for a shock!
