Re: Who turned the lights out?
What a pity I didn't have a few T1 Lithium off grid power containers ready, they would have sold like hot cakes and really put us on the map, "when the grid fails we won't leave you in the dark"
With the sorry condition the grid network is in it was inevitable a failure like this was going to happen, loose the distribution network and the state to state interconnectors have to auto shut down.
It's a pity we weren't there to power up the workshop lights from the Mazda, that would have been enough to get the word about
Think we ill have to put up an LED sign out the front with the new catch phrase "we won't leave you in the dark" and have it light up every night

A person may fail many times, they only become a failure when they blame someone else John Burrows

Re: Who turned the lights out?
Next door neighbors was still lit up so looks like he might be in front of you Terry.
Lights came back on during the morning as they were still out about 1:00 when I got up for a nightly walk.
Still very windy and raining on and off with lots more to come.
Had to stop making saw dust when the power went out but back into it this morning.

How long do you reckon you could last if there was no sun for say 1 week if you used all appliances as normal?
