They all ended up back downstairs cause they hadn't eaten and drunk enough to keep them warm  When the fireworks started, only Bruce and myself ventured back upstairs. well worth the effort, the reflection off the water added a whole lot more to the effect. For such a small town, they put on a big and long running display ... up there with the Albion Park (Illawarra area) show that costs $20 a head to get in the gate .... it does go towards the fund raising for the local bushfire brigade so we didn't mind spending the $20 ea, but they would have still had a run for their money competing with this free show.

Many thanks to Bruce and Wendy for inviting us to spend New Yrs on the boat in a spot they had to travel to days before to claim a prime position. I believe some who thought they'd found an even better spot got chased out New Yrs Eve because of fire risks, that would have been a real bummer after staking out the spot for near a week
It was great to catch up with Inneka again and watch the colours Wendy turned as Inneka and Margaret started to bounce one liners off each other, I think Michael might have even started blushing at one stage  The only think that kept Brian and Bruce from covering their ears was they were sitting at the other end of the table and couldn't hear most of it  A real character and a must have at any party I reckon, what a great night, even Wendy started to add the odd comment that showed a whole new side of Wendy .... yet another revelation to add after the cooking instructions (Dottie and George will remember that one) and the comment at the top of the stairs a few New Yrs back on the old boat when Bruce started to move the boat while she was just starting to climb down

Thinking about redesigning them or maybe install a water lift.
Keeps the leg muscles in trim going up & down though!!
I even added some padding this year to stop scalping people.
Erich was the last to have a 'total' scaplping. Others just get a googie on their heads!!
So Ducks disease needed on that vessel ... :o

vik... or duck...!!! ;)

P. S .Terrence just jumps off the side...???
Inneka was the only one to hit the water, a New Yrs belly flop ..... no TV's were injured during the event either :P I managed to travel up and down the stairs a few times and didn't end up seeing stars that weren't part of the normal night sky, got a few impressions across the forehead from the padding Bruce added though ;)
