Sound like

A lot of us have homes we spend some time in. Discussions can be about any topic that may be of interest that you can think of... renovations, purchases, expenses, etc, etc

Or you could try just a bit of Bindii spray, straight onto the target weed. They will grow back regardless of what you do with them, short of grubbing them all out. Which is, I think, how this thread started.
