Time for us to start praying for rain

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Bernie, Don't move the bus till the grounds dried out a bit. If you don't move it, it won't get bogged. I would show you proof of what happened to us at Gympie the other year, but I wouldn't let them take any photos.
Been reasonably steady rain here all night and today with a fairly heavy patch that lasted an hour or so.
Cheers

No intention of moving the bus David, only one reason to go outside in this weather is to get a beer from the shed.
A cuppla more inches this day so far.

Good luck with the weather Bernie, I am being told to go out to the shed and do something, like clean it up. And I haven't got a beer fridge out there.

Yeah we have the do-gooders here saving the bloody things to. Something that can kill YOU and a lot of others is a bloody danger. I did hear though they are responsible for 75% or better of the pollination process and nothing gets near them and without them pollination is a problem.

Reminds me of the day when I went to show the bride where the bats were living on a muddy little island in our river here. Took the boat in close and there were thousands of them, Urunga is famous for the things. Mind you nearly ever mangrove was a bare stick not a leaf left. Taking the boat in close was not a good idea, unbeknown to me bats hate 2 stoke motors, boat motors, lawn motors etc. Got in close to look at the bats when the bloody things took flight right over the top of us, the bastards shit and pissed all over us. NOT a good idea at all. Still haven't heard the last of it at family gatherings.

For those that have seen the news about Bundaberg, we are safe from all that where we live in Degilbo, about 100 Ks away
We are flooded in so cant leave home, have no reason to anyway.
Food in the cupboard and beer in the fridge.
I wont be able to move the bus for some time we are on black soil.
It is normally on the drive way but for convenience I parked it closer to the house when we arrived home last week.

No, Dot. It's where she used to live. All quiet in our area apart from rain. I sure she is at her Kiwi neighbours' having her "one" drink. ;-)
